"Guilt is the one burden
human beings can't bear alone."
-- Anais Nin
1. What is the worst
decision you can imagine making? Write a scene that shows a character making
a moral decision that will leave him guilty for the rest of his life.
2. Write a scene in which
a character is trying to convince someone he is not guilty of something
he indeed did do.
3. If you did no. 2,
use the same character. Have the character confess guilt to another. How
does the character feel after the confession? Relieved? Embarassed? Does
the character feel unburdened or does the guilt remain?
